Student will assessed, then will go into their office in Ft Pierce to use the Rosetta Stone software. Tutoring is also available, and free classes are available on Tuesdays at Morningside Library. This sounds like a very time-flexible option.

An excellent resource for all kinds of information - grammar quizzes, lesson plans, slang explanations - for teachers and studetns. Also has a Student Forums section where ESL students can exchange ideas and solutions.
English, Baby!
A general resources that includes lessons, quizzes and interactive vocabulary lists. Also has an English Forums, Chat Rooms and "Friend Finder" to lend some virtual support.

A huge collection of interactive forums designed to connect with others about topics such as writing, where to find teaching jobs, and even "Random Stuff."

Podcasts and Videos

Podcasts in English
A variety of different English podcasts with the motto, "listen and learn," all organized by skill level. Worksheets and quizzes are available but for a registration fee.
Culips
Podcasts with different topics all focused on practicing English - interviews, "natural" conversations, unique vocabulary, discussions about unusual English phrases and idioms plus "real talk" - featuring real-life situations like learning to drive or going to the movies.
Listen and Read Along
As the name suggests, a YouTube channel that reads various texts (and some music) and displays the words online. Words are highlighted as they are read making it easy to follow and read along.
Voice of America
A YouTube channel featuring captioned news reports and general interest stories read at a slower-than-average pace.
English With Jennifer
Videos featuring an ESL teacher including lessons about basic English grammar plus more practical lessons like writing emails, strange phrases and idioms.
