Allied Health Scholarship Opportunities

The Maxine Williams Scholarship Fund of the American Association of Medical Assistants provides educational assistance to deserving medical assisting students.


AMRI’s Scholarship Program for Healthcare Students.
Whether you are looking for a nursing scholarship, an EMT scholarship or any other sort of medical scholarship in a field that requires advanced life support skills, AMRI may be able to help. Starting in 2016, we will be awarding an annual $2,000 scholarship to the person who submits the best essay to us.


American Medical Technologists offers five $500 scholarships each year. The award is given to a student in need; therefore the applicant must provide evidence of financial need. The applicant’s course of study must lead to a career in one of the disciplines certified by the American Medical Technologists, which includes medical assistants and dental assistants. The award may only be used to defray tuition costs, and will be sent directly to the school of the recipient’s choice. Applications are taken until April 1st of each year. Award recipients are notified by early summer.
