Good evening! I wanted to say thank you so much again for being so helpful and kind in filling out my skill survey evaluation just before the holidays began. I am also so grateful for the support you give all of us students. It really helped all of us. I can't wait to share the good news with you and my other references that vouched for me:) Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Sincerely,
Jubil Philip
I hope this email reaches you well. I just wanted to thank you for everything you have done for me, from helping me with my resume while at St. Paul’s, following up on my NCLEX journey after graduation, to sending me job opportunities and immediately getting me in touch with employers when I passed my NCLEX. You promised me that you worked fast in helping new graduates find employment, but I never expected it to only take 48 hours!
I got officially licensed last Monday on November 14th, you got me in touch with NYC Health + Hospitals / Bellevue that same afternoon, and two mornings later I attended their recruitment event where they gave me a preliminary offer on the spot. Despite my being a newly licensed nurse and lacking experience Bellevue was impressed with my resume (the one you helped revise) and gave me a tour of the Medical-Surgical unit they wanted me to work in. I got a phone call from Bellevue this afternoon with the official job offer as staff nurse for that unit, in which I will be starting on January 9th with a base salary of $85K. I accepted the offer! Their nursing orientation spots are filled for the time being, or else I would have been starting earlier.
Being a nursing student was incredibly stressful and I often wondered whether it would remain that way after St. Paul’s when searching for jobs and starting my career. Thank you so much for alleviating that stress and making it so much easier than I expected.
Regards,
Sepora A.
